Our History
Shockey has been a well-known name in the construction industry since 1896, when Howard Shockey began humbly with his own carpentry business in Winchester, VA. Built on the foundation of Howard's integrity, industriousness and craftsmanship, the company has survived The Great Depression, two World Wars and significant recessions.
Today, with two major divisions and more than 500 employees who deliver more than 200 projects a year, Shockey continues to build on Howard's firm foundation of hard work, dedication and integrity.
